Your presence has just graced the Third Floor.

Been itching to ask an brain-stumping question? Here's your sanctuary!

Q) If you're so smart answer this: a train leaves New York and travels at a speed of 30 mph, while another train leaves Los Angeles, exactly 42 minutes later at a speed of 53 miles per hour.  Both trains have many stops along their way, and the New York train breaks down unexpectedly near Pittsburgh.  Furthermore, the engineer of the L.A. train has a bad hangover and didn't really want to work this day, and there's a bridge out in Nevada.  Where do they meet? -M.v.S.

A) MvS, huh? Marilyn vos Savant! Tryin' to stump us again, huh? Insecurity does not become you. Well, the answer is exactly 3 miles, 642 feet, 5 and 3/4 inches east of Denver. There will be a hollow stump to the left that marks the spot. How do we know this? We're not telling! If you think we're wrong, prove it! (You think you're so damned smart...)

Q) I live in Kansas. A close friend of mine from Texas and I are going on vacation in Australia next year. If I pack cool clothes and remember to take a swimsuit, where will I be two weeks from now? -Nora C.

A) On seat 27B of that train that left L.A. for New York.  Keep your eyes open for the train going the other direction, we want to know where you meet...

Q) If I get up at 10am in Los Angeles, what time will it be in the capital of Zimbabwe? What IS the capital of Zimbabwe? -MvS

A) Marilyn vos Savant again!?  Simple question this time.  The capital of Zimbabwe is Salisbury.  If you get up at 10Am L.A. time, it will be 12 midnight in Zimbabwe.
Makin' us do all the dirty work again, aren't ya? Tsk tsk tsk...

Oh God, not Hair!

(It's kewl enough, but if you don't like it, press stop.)
